Privacy policy

This policy explains how House of Dynast ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you visit houseofdynast.shop or buy from us. House of Dynast is based in the Netherlands and is the controller of your personal data.

What we collect

Order details: your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number (if you give it) and what you ordered. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we don't see or store your full card number.
Messages: anything you send us when you email us for help.
Device and browsing data: such as your IP address, browser, the pages and products you view and how you arrived at the site, collected with cookies and similar technologies.
Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up for emails from us.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

To process, ship and support your order (performance of our contract with you).
To keep records we are required to keep, such as invoices (legal obligation).
To prevent fraud and keep the site secure and working (our legitimate interests).
To measure how the site is used and to show you relevant ads, and to send marketing emails (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the store, and only as far as they need it:

Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout (Shopify privacy policy).
Payment providers such as Shopify Payments and PayPal.
Our suppliers and shipping carriers, so your order can be made ready and delivered.
Klaviyo, for emails you have agreed to receive.
Judge.me, if you leave a product review.
Google and Meta, for site analytics and advertising, where you have given consent.

We may also share data where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States and Canada. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as Dutch tax law requires (currently seven years). Other data is kept only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete it.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the store, cart and checkout to work. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only in line with your choices. Where a cookie banner is shown, you can accept or decline these cookies there, and you can also block cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict how we use it. You can withdraw consent or unsubscribe from emails at any time. Email us to make a request.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the data protection authority in your own country.
